Dr. Sanskrit room inaugurated in Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University

Special guest Dr. Vishnu Prasad Trivedi, while lecturing about the movement of the mind based on the first 6 mantras of 'Shiva Sankalp Sukta' of the 34th chapter of Shukla Yajurveda, said that the mind travels a long distance in the dormant state of wakefulness. He is the lord of the senses. In the Suktas of 'Shiva Sankalp Sukta', the sage prays that the mind always becomes benevolent and has good resolutions. And said that, just as the charioteer controls the horse, knowledge and good deeds can be done by controlling the mind.
