Dr. Sejal Pawar, a final year MBBS student at KEM Hospital, has received huge praise for her alleged objectionable and insensitive statement regarding dead bodies in comedian Pranit More’s stand-up show. After the related video went viral on social media, citizens, medical professionals and various organizations have expressed their anger.

Taking serious intervention in the entire incident, the KEM hospital administration has immediately set up an inquiry committee and has indicated to take appropriate action if found guilty.

Dr. Sejal Pawar, who participated in Pranit More’s comedy show, allegedly made indecent remarks while talking about the topic related to dead bodies and organ donation. Or the video of the statement went viral on social media and widespread criticism started.

He said that two senior doctors, who were seriously affected by the viral video, have been appointed to the inquiry committee. Or the committee has been instructed to submit the report immediately and after receiving the report, appropriate action will be taken against the concerned student.

Dr. Pathak made it clear that he has utmost respect for organ donation and organ donation for medical education, and insensitive statements on such topics cannot be accepted.
