The Ducati Hypermotard V2 950 is the last Supermotard Ducati model that has a twin engine and has been phased out recently. Like the other 937cc V-twin Testastretta engines, Ducati has launched the Hypermotard V2 to replace the Hypermotard 950 that is available in both regular and SP models. Both these models cost ₹16.53 lakh and ₹20.78 lakh (Ex-showroom, India).
V2 engine-equipped Ducati bikes come with a new monocoque frame, and the Hypermotard V2 has also got the same upgrade. It comes with a new 890cc liquid-cooled V-twin cylinder engine that can generate 120.4 hp and 94 Nm of torque in the Hypermotard. This engine, despite being used in other bikes such as the Monster C2, provides the most amount of power and torque in this bike.
The rear tire has been widened by 10 mm, and the company provided tires are replaced from the Diablo Rosso III to Diablo Rosso IV. Front brake calipers have been upgraded to Brembo M4.32.
