Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, under Operation Shuddhi, the operation being conducted against criminals involved in drug trafficking and illegal business, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Operation Rishabh Runwal and Area Officer Duddhi Vinay Prabhakar Sahni and under the efficient leadership of Inspector in-charge Duddhi Vishwanath Pratap Singh, the police station Duddhi has achieved great success.
On 20.09.2026, Inspector in-charge of police station Duddhi Vishwanath Pratap Singh was checking at Mayorpur Tiraha along with the police force. Meanwhile, information was received that a truck number JK05G3831 had gone out of control and overturned near the slope turn on Hathinala-Duddhi road in Rajkhar Valley. On receiving information, inspector in-charge and police force immediately reached the spot. The truck was found overturned on the spot, in which illegal English liquor kept hidden in boxes under the cover of husk was recovered. The driver and other persons were searched around the truck, but no one was found present.

When the police searched the truck, a total of 15,680 bottles, a total of 4297 liters of illicit English liquor and one mobile phone were recovered in 277 boxes and 100 plastic sacks. On the basis of the recovery, a case has been registered at Police Station Duddhi under IPC No. 265/2026, Section 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2) BNS and Section 60/63/72 Excise Act. Advance legal proceedings are underway in the matter.
The police team that made the recovery included Inspector-in-charge Vishwanath Pratap Singh Duddhi, Inspector Sanjay Singh, Inspector Harikesh Ram, Inspector Sarvesh Singh, Inspector Sunil Saroj, Inspector Jaswant Singh.
