Duddhi police successfully exposed the theft of mobile and laptop from government hospital, vicious thief arrested

Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (Operation) Rishabh Runwal and under the able direction of Area Officer Duddhi Vinay Prabhakar Sahni, under the leadership of Inspector-in-charge Duddhi Dharmendra Singh, as part of the campaign being run against crime and criminals, Duddhi police station has successfully exposed the incident of theft from Government Hospital Duddhi and arrested a vicious accused. 09 stolen Android mobile phones and 02 laptops have been recovered from the possession of the accused.

On 16.07.2026, information was received about theft of three government mobile phones from Government Hospital Duddhi. On the basis of the complaint received, a case was registered at Police Station Duddhi under FIR No. 203/2026* Section 331(4), 305(A) BNS. To quickly uncover the incident, a police team was formed and CCTV footage was observed. After matching the photo of the suspect obtained in CCTV through Yaksh app, the accused was identified as Sundresh Kumar alias Jadugar alias Bambam*. After this, on the information of informer, accused Sundresh Kumar alias Magician alias Bambamputra late from Rajkhar Tirahe. Nandlal Gupta, resident of village Beedar, police station Duddhi, district Sonbhadra, aged about 32 years, was arrested. On the basis of interrogation and recovery, the accused was charged under section 317(2), 317(4) of BNS and the tax challan was sent to the court.

The police team that made the arrest included Inspector-in-charge Dharmendra Kumar Singh of police station Duddhi, Senior Sub-Inspector Sanjay Singh, Head Constable Mohd. Khalid Khan, Head Constable Sarvesh Singh, Head Constable Bhagichandra, Constable Tej Prakash were included.
