Tezzbuzz Desk- Even before the release of Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Jaideep Ahlawat starrer 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion', there is a huge stir at the box office. The advance booking of the film has overtaken the final advance booking collection of 'Drishyam 2' just two days before its release. So far, tickets worth Rs 26.58 crore have been booked for the four days of shows of the film.
According to SACNILC, by around 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon, advance booking of the film with block seats had reached Rs 26.58 crore. At the same time, excluding the block seat, this figure is Rs 19.30 crore. In comparison, the final advance booking of 'Drishyam 2' was Rs 6.93 crore and about 1.27 lakh tickets of the film were sold.
The first day advance booking of 'Drishyam 3' was Rs 14.08 crore, of which without block seats this figure is Rs 11.58 crore. Bookings worth Rs 6.65 crore were made on the second day, Rs 5.48 crore on the third day and Rs 36.88 lakh on the fourth day. After removing the block seats, the booking on the second day is Rs 4.24 crore, on the third day it is Rs 3.17 crore and on the fourth day it is Rs 30.33 lakh.
So far, 7.61 lakh tickets of the film have been sold, while after removing the block seats, the sale of tickets is 5.38 lakh. This booking has been done for 26,197 shows and the occupancy is said to be around 12 percent.
Maharashtra is at the forefront in terms of advance booking. Here tickets worth Rs 4.57 crore with block seat and Rs 3.94 crore without block seat have been sold. In Delhi, bookings worth Rs 3.27 crore have been made with block seats and Rs 2.76 crore without block seats. After this there is Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
'Drishyam 2' did a business of Rs 18.15 crore on the first day of its release and the worldwide earning of the film was Rs 342.31 crore. Now 'Drishyam 3' is going to be released in theaters on 2 October 2026. The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak.
