Earthquake tremors in neighboring country Nepal, recorded 4.1 on Richter scale.
Earthquake News : Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Nepal’s mountainous district Darchula on Sunday. Its intensity was recorded at 4.1 on the Richter scale. According to Nepal’s Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, this earthquake occurred at 11.55 am on Sunday morning. Its center was located underground in the Tapovan area of Darchula district.
As soon as the tremors of the earthquake were felt, panic spread among the local people and as a precaution many people came out of their homes.
3.5 magnitude earthquake in Kishtwar
Earlier, earthquake tremors were recorded in Kishtwar district of Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning. Its intensity was measured at 3.5 on the Richter scale. This earthquake occurred at 9.57 am and its center was located at a depth of about 10 kilometers from the ground surface. Its geographical location was recorded at 33.289 degrees north latitude and 76.739 degrees east longitude.
Earthquake of 4.1 magnitude in Kalahandi
At the same time, earthquake tremors were also felt in Kalahandi district of Odisha on the evening of 29 April. Its intensity was 4.1. According to the National Seismology Centre, this shock occurred at 7.42 pm. Its center was about 24 kilometers below the ground surface. Its position was recorded at 19.729 degrees north latitude and 82.599 degrees east longitude. Tremors were felt for a few seconds in Dharamgarh, Junagadh, Koksara, Thuamul Rampur and Bhawanipatna areas of the district. According to officials, there was no immediate information about any loss of life or property from the affected areas.
