Eight killed in lightning strikes across Jharkhand
Ranchi: At least eight people, including two women and a two-year-old boy, died in lightning strikes across Jharkhand, police said Friday.
Of the eight people, three were killed in Hazaribag district, while the remaining deaths were reported from Palamu, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, West Singhbhum and Godda districts.
“At least eight people were killed in lightning strikes across six districts of the state in last 24 hours,” a police official said.
