Indian squad for West Indies ODIs : India’s senior men’s cricket team has to play a three-match ODI series against West Indies at home in September-October. But, a big dilemma has arisen in front of BCCI regarding this series. There is a conflict of dates of Asian Games 2026 and ODI series against West Indies. In such a situation, eight players of the team may be out of the ODI series.

In fact, BCCI has already announced the first men’s team for the Asian Games 2026, in which the men’s cricket competition will run from September 24 to October 1. The squad of the defending team includes star players like Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana and Nitish Kumar Reddy. That means all of them may be out of the ODI series. Other players may get a chance in their place. Who had performed brilliantly in IPL. The three-match ODI series between India and West Indies is to be held from 27 September to 3 October.
It is believed that Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma may get a chance in the team as middle order batsmen. Apart from this, Bhuvneshwar Kumar may return to the team among fast bowlers, who will be accompanied by Mohammad Siraj. At the same time, the places of players like captain Shubhman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are confirmed. Apart from this, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja, Harsh Dubey, Prince Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar and Ayush Badoni are included.
