Liz Meriwether’s Furious has secured a Season 2 renewal at Hulu, ensuring that more of the Emmy Rossum led thriller is on the way.
Hulu’s renewal comes only days ahead of the Season one finale, which is set to drop on August 31.
Hulu’s decision to renew Furious comes on the heels of the cancellation of another freshman original, Not Suitable for Workwhich was axed earlier this week, two months after its finale aired, leaving many fans worldwide very upset.
In Furiouswhich takes loose inspiration from the 1987 movie Black Widow, the Shameless alum takes on the role of an FBI agent Alice Black, who finds herself tracking a serial killer played by Lola Petticrew.
“Both walk their own paths toward justice and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur,’ the logline reads.
Season one of the hit series also stars Scoot McNairy, Jake Lacy and Quincy Tyler Bernstine.
Hulu is also set to return with season 6 of Only Murders in the Buildingwhich fans will be able to enjoy on December 8, 2026.
