His dismissal effectively ended Pakistan’s hopes of extending the match.
Mohammad Abbas Shines for Pakistan
While Pakistan’s batting struggled, Mohammad Abbas produced an outstanding bowling performance.
He took 5/57 in England’s second innings, finishing the match with nine wickets. Abbas also claimed four wickets in England’s first innings and earned his place on the Lord’s honours board.
However, his excellent bowling effort could not compensate for Pakistan’s repeated batting failures.
