England Crime News: Rape took place from 1 to 3 in the night, the girl said – I don’t know whose brutality?

Multiple allegations of rape have been made against two men after an 18-year-old girl was attacked by unknown people. The attack is said to have taken place between 1am and 3am on Wednesday at an address on Manners Road in Southsea, Hampshire. Police said that the victim was raped by two men whom she did not know, after which detectives started investigation. Tony Goldsmith, 45, of Enfield, North London, and Bobby Watson, 46, of Waltham Abbey, Essex, have each been charged with three counts of rape. Both have been kept in custody.

Officials are investigating the entire circumstances related to the alleged attack. A spokesman for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said two men have been charged with the rape of a woman in Southsea. Detectives began an investigation after a report that an 18-year-old woman was raped by two men she did not know on Wednesday, June 24. The attack happened between 1am and 3am at an address on Manners Road in Southsea, Hampshire.

Authorities are carrying out a thorough investigation to determine the full extent of the situation and have now charged two men in connection with the incident. Tony Gold Smith, 45, of Gilbert Street, Enfield, has been charged with three counts of rape. Bobby Watson, 46, of Highbridge Street, Waltham Abbey, Essex, has been charged with three counts of rape. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday (June 29, 2026).
