US Iran Agree Halt Attacks Qatar Meeting: A big and relief news has emerged amid the clouds of war looming in West Asia. America and Iran, which have been staunch opponents of each other for a long time, have now agreed to stop mutual military attacks. This agreement took place at a time when tension between the two countries was at its peak and the world was scared of the possibility of a major military conflict.

Attacks continued even after ceasefire

Recently a ceasefire was implemented between America and Iran, but even after that, within the last 24 hours, both sides again attacked each other’s targets, due to which there was a danger of breaking the agreement.

However, now ‘Axios’ A report quoting senior US officials has claimed that both sides are currently engaged in ‘kinetic activity’ That is, they have agreed to completely stop military attacks and aggressive actions.

Decisive meeting will be held in Qatar

The next big step towards reducing tension will be taken in Doha, the capital of Qatar. On Tuesday, delegations from both sides will sit around a table to discuss the ‘Strait of Hormuz‘ A permanent solution to the ongoing dispute can be found. The Strait of Hormuz is considered a lifeline for global oil supplies and there has been a long-running conflict between the two countries over control over it.

Trump’s warning

Before this agreement, US President Donald Trump had taken a very tough stance. He warned that if Iran did not reform, he would restart the war and ‘finish the job’. And will erase Iran from the world map.

On the other hand, Iran had also retaliated by making it clear that if America violated the ceasefire, all future diplomatic talks and avenues would be completely closed.

Relief regarding movement of ships in Hormuz

Another positive aspect of the agreement is that while the negotiation process continues, the movement of ships in Hormuz will be possible without any restriction.
