Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the works of Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department in Lucknow today. He has given instructions to immediately repair the roads damaged by rain and flood and make them motorable. The Chief Minister said that the new roads damaged by rain should also be surveyed. Where the road is in bad condition, it should be made motorable now and after the rainy season is over, permanent renovation should be done as per the need.

The Chief Minister said that there will be movement of a large number of people during the upcoming festivals and festivals. In such a situation, there should not be any problem in traffic on major routes. Necessary repair and renovation works should be completed before festivals.
He also said that the roads near educational institutions, hospitals, main markets, government offices and other such places where there is high public traffic should be taken on priority. Work should be started immediately on these routes and where repairs are needed, the roads should be made motorable without any delay. Along with speeding up the work, quality should also be taken care of.
The Chief Minister took information about the action plans from the officials of the Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry and also reviewed the action plans of Mandi Parishad, Panchayati Raj, Irrigation, Rural Development, Urban Development, Housing and Urban Planning and Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department. He said that all concerned departments should work with better coordination.
