The political activism of sons and daughters of many senior leaders in the Bharatiya Janata Party has increased. The name of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh's son Neeraj Singh is in discussion as a possible contender from Lucknow East. Neeraj has also been made the Vice President of the State Bharatiya Janata Party in June 2026, which has further strengthened his organizational role. Karan Mahana, son of Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, is active in Maharajpur seat of Kanpur. Their increasing presence in the region is being linked to preparations for 2027.
Next generation of big faces ready in Bharatiya Janata Party
The name of Abhinav Sinha, son of Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manoj Sinha, has emerged among the possible contenders from Ghazipur Sadar. Similarly, there is talk of Baheri, Bareilly seat for Shruti Gangwar, daughter of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Santosh Gangwar. Shalini Singh, daughter of former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, is also active in Noida. Due to the current political equations, his path is not considered easy. The name of former MP Sanjay Singh's daughter Akanksha Singh is associated with activism in Amethi.
The name of Aarti Pal, daughter of former MP Jagdambika Pal, is also in discussion due to political activism. However, available reliable reports do not yet confirm whether his 2027 ticket or claim from any particular assembly seat has been officially decided. Chhaya Verma, daughter of MP Lalji Verma, is among the contenders from Katehri seat of Ambedkar Nagar. She is increasing her activism among the voters in the area. The claim of Ajit Prasad, son of MP Awadhesh Prasad, on Milkipur seat of Ayodhya is again in the news. Despite the defeat in the 2025 by-election, Ajit continues to be active in the area. The name of Ranjit Chaudhary, son of former leader of opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary, is in front from Bansdih seat of Ballia. Dhananjay Saroj, son of Kerakat MLA and former MP Toofani Saroj, is also active in the area. The special thing is that Toofani Saroj's daughter Priya Saroj has already reached the Lok Sabha.
Faizan Kidwai, son of former minister Farid Mahfouz Kidwai in Barabanki, is also active in political activities. There is talk of candidature of Rajendra Yadav's son Shivendra Yadav from Bakshi Ka Talab seat of Lucknow. Subodh Yadav's attempt to return to the party in Sant Kabir Nagar is also being linked to the political legacy of his late father Bhalchandra Yadav. Here the final claim for a particular seat for the son is not clear.
Bet on Umashankar Singh's son in Bahujan Samaj Party
Prince alias UKesh Singh, son of late MLA Umashankar Singh, has emerged as the most prominent new face in the Bahujan Samaj Party. Umashankar Singh had been MLA from Rasra seat of Ballia for three consecutive times and after his death, Mayawati had hinted to UKesh to carry forward the political legacy. After UKesh got a place in the front row in the important meeting of Bahujan Samaj Party in Lucknow on August 31, his claim from Rasra in 2027 is considered to be stronger. In recent reports, he is being seen as a possible candidate of Bahujan Samaj Party, although the formal ticket announcement is a different matter.

Raising the next generation of political families in 2027 will bring both benefits and challenges for all three parties.
