ePik Pahani : Big relief for farmers! Abolition of mandatory e-peak inspection; Now the government assistant will register..

ePik Pahani : A very comforting and great news has come out for lakhs of farmers in the state. The state government has finally made a very important change in the rules of ‘e-Peak Inspection’, which has been a headache for farmers for the past few years. Farmers were baffled due to technical difficulties in the mobile app, lack of network and difficulties in registration. Taking a serious note of this, the government has now completely canceled the compulsion to register crops through mobile phones and has directly entrusted this responsibility to the administration. Due to this historic decision, the farmers will now get a big relief and their crops on the Satbara slope will be recorded directly on the dam.

What is the exact order of the government?

According to the new decision taken by the state government’s revenue and agriculture department, farmers are no longer required to register their crops themselves under the digital crop survey. From July 15, 2026, e-crop inspection will be conducted directly in the fields through special assistants appointed across the state.

Force mobile completely off: Earlier, farmers had to download the app from the Google Play Store, stand within 50 meters of the field and upload photos. Now the farmers have been given complete freedom from this technical process.

Appointment of Special Assistants: The government has ordered to appoint a separate ‘crop inspection assistant’ for each village. These assistants will go directly to the farmers’ farm premises to physically inspect the crops and complete the digital registration.

Exact Seventeen Registers: The information recorded by the assistants will be directly linked to the revenue department’s system. This will result in accurate and timely recording of crops from the Talathi office on the Satbara passage.

Campaign starts from 15th July: This new campaign for this year’s kharif season will be implemented simultaneously across the state from July 15, 2026. ePik Pahani

What should farmers do? : The government has made it clear that farmers only need to inform the designated assistant of their village about their crop and register in their presence.

Why did this big decision have to be made?

In the past few seasons, even 50 percent of the farmers were not registered in time due to various technical problems like server down, network failure, and login failure during e-peak inspection. Due to this, farmers were facing major hurdles in getting crop insurance and government compensation. The revenue minister and the state government have taken this important administrative decision to save the farmers from all these troubles. ePik Pahani

What will benefit the farmers?

Permanent freedom from technical hassles: Earlier, farmers used to suffer for hours in the fields due to server down, non-receipt of OTP, and app hangs. Now farmers are freed from all these technical troubles as they do not have to register themselves.

Easy to get compensation: In case of crop loss due to natural calamities, heavy rains or drought, getting government financial assistance and NDRF assistance will be very quick and easy based on accurate records on Satbara Pass.

No problem in getting crop insurance claims : Often insurance companies reject farmers’ claims due to wrong or non-recording of crops in e-crop inspection. Now the way to get insurance will be clear as there will be accurate registration through government assistants. ePik Pahani

Bank Loans and Crop Loans Process Accelerated: While taking a crop loan from the bank, it is mandatory to have the record of the current season’s crop on the Satbara slip. Now, as the registration will be done in time, the farmers will not have to bother the banks for loan approval.

Sale of grain at government procurement centers made easy: E-Crop Inspection Receipt is required to sell Cotton, Paddy, Soybean or Tur at Government Procurement Center at Guaranteed Price (MSP). Accurate registration will enable farmers to sell their crops directly to the government center without any hassle. ePik Pahani

Huge savings of time and money: Many elderly or illiterate farmers could not operate the mobile app, so they had to go to Maha-e-Seva Kendra or others to spend money. Now, since the government representative will come to the dam itself, the farmers will save money and hassles.
