EV Comparison: The compact SUV segment is becoming increasingly popular in the Indian electric car market. In this segment, Kia Syros EV and Mahindra XUV 3XO EV have emerged as two strong options for the customers. Both the electric SUVs come with modern features, better safety and long driving range. Who is ahead in price?
The starting ex-showroom price of Kia Syros EV is ₹13.49 lakh, while its top variant goes up to ₹19.99 lakh.

Whereas the price of Mahindra XUV 3XO EV starts from ₹ 13.89 lakh and goes up to ₹ 14.96 lakh. In such a situation, both are close in starting price, but in case of top variant, XUV 3XO EV becomes a more affordable option.

Design and cabin
The design of Kia Syros EV has been kept modern and premium. It features a bold front design, LED lighting and EV-specific styling elements. Its length is 3,995 mm, which makes its road presence look attractive.

On the other hand, the design of Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is inspired by its ICE model. However, it has a closed front grille, new alloy wheels and some EV-specific changes, which give it a distinct identity.

Talking about the interior, Syros EV has dual 12.3-inch display, panoramic sunroof and premium cabin. The XUV 3XO EV has a twin 10.25-inch display, ventilated seats and ample cabin space.

Features and safety
Features like Level-2 ADAS, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Connected Car Technology and Panoramic Sunroof have been provided in Kia Syros EV.

Whereas Mahindra XUV 3XO EV has features like Harman Kardon audio system, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, Level-2 ADAS, 6 airbags and ESP. In terms of safety, both SUVs are equipped with modern safety technology.

Battery, performance and range
Kia Syros EV comes with two battery options.

42 kWh battery – claimed range of up to 443 km and power of 133-135 hp.
51.4 kWh battery – claimed range of up to 526 km, 171 hp of power and 255 Nm of torque.

This SUV can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 39 minutes with a DC fast charger.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV gets a 39.4 kWh battery pack, which generates 147 hp power and 310 Nm torque. Its claimed range is 456 km. It takes about 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds.

Which SUV to buy?
If your priority is long driving range, premium interior and more features, then Kia Syros EV could be a better option.

On the other hand, if you want strong performance, more torque and better acceleration at a lower price, then Mahindra XUV 3XO EV may prove to be more suitable for you.
