Even during pregnancy, Deepika Padukone did dangerous action scenes throughout the night, big news came from the set of ‘Raaka’
Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is in the news these days for her upcoming mega-budget film ‘Raaka’. Despite being in the third trimester (seventh month) of her pregnancy, Deepika completed the shooting of extremely challenging action scenes for the film in night shifts before going on maternity leave. While there is a long debate going on in the film industry these days regarding the 8-hour shift of artists, Deepika’s professional commitment and her passion towards work is being praised everywhere. Special care was taken for safety and health on the set. According to sources associated with the film’s team, very strict and special arrangements were made for Deepika’s health and safety on the set. Deepika, mother of a one and a half year old daughter, carried out the shooting with full responsibility without compromising her health. Seeing his dedication, the entire crew present on the set looked extremely inspired. Why is there a debate on 8 hour shift in the film industry? Actually, some time ago there were reports that due to differences regarding working hours, Deepika had distanced herself from big films like Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ and Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2’. Since then, the discussion had intensified in the entertainment industry, especially regarding the working hours of new mothers and pregnant actresses. Amidst such an environment, Deepika’s staying awake all night to shoot action scenes is surprising everyone. Will be seen in ‘Raaka’ with Allu Arjun. ‘Raaka’, being made under the direction of director Atlee, is being considered one of the grandest films of Indian cinema. It is a large-scale science-fiction and fantasy based action film, in which superstars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone will be seen together for the first time. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Jhanvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. This mega film will hit the theaters in the year 2027.
