Every Graveyard In Kashmir Has Remains Of A Pakistani Terrorist: Hizbul Deputy Supreme Chief

Muzaffarabad: Pakistan’s role in cross-border terrorism has been exposed yet again, this time by a terrorist himself.

The deputy supreme commander of the Pakistan-based terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, Shamsheer Khan, has publicly admitted that terrorists from across Pakistan have “fought and died” in Kashmir.

“There isn’t a graveyard in Kashmir without the remains of Pakistani terrorists”, he said recently, acknowledging the active role of Pakistani terrorists in violence in the Valley.

A video of this statement, made during a Jamaat-e-Islami gathering at Muzaffarabad, has now gone viral. It is being seen as a significant admission that exposes the nexus between the ISI, the Pakistan Army, and terrorist organisations operating from Pakistan, as reported by timesnow.in.

“From Lolab and Kupwara to Kathua, there isn’t a graveyard in Kashmir without the remains of Pakistani terrorists,” Khan said, adding that no one can cut off the connection between Pakistan and Kashmir or create hatred between the two regions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, meanwhile, brought up Operation Sindoor while interacting with the Indian diaspora in Australia. It was a “demo” of India’s defence capabilities, he said.

“The world is witnessing the capability and credibility of India’s defence platforms. You must have seen a demonstration of this during Operation Sindoor. The explosions were taking place at terrorist hideouts, but their echoes were heard across the entire world,” he said at the event in Melbourne, attended by Australian prime minister Anthony Albanese.

“Did this massive strike on terror hideouts fill you with pride, or not?” PM Modi asked.

Operation Sindoor was launched by India on May 7, 2025, in retaliation to the Pahalgam massacre by Pakistani terrorists that killed 26 innocents on April 22.

India struck terror facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan responded by launching missiles and drones at Indian military and civilian targets, but they were intercepted.

India finally carried out precision strikes on Pakistani air bases and air defence systems, following which Islamabad was forced to call for a truce on May 10.
