Traveling in Delhi Zoo becomes easy, ‘NZP Saathi’ app will provide route map, tickets and location of animals.
New Delhi. A big facility has been started for the tourists visiting the National Zoological Park Delhi in the capital. The zoo administration has launched a new mobile app named “NZP Saathi”, the beta version of which is currently started as a trial. Through this app, it will now be easier and more organized for visitors to visit the zoo than before. In the app, complete information about the location of animals, route map, battery trolley information, eating places and other important facilities will be made available on the mobile. According to the administration, this digital initiative aims to improve the experience of visitors and provide proper guidance during rush hours. This will help people reach their favorite animals and sections without getting lost.
Often after reaching the zoo, people are not able to decide where to start the journey and which animal is located in which direction. Many times, even after touring the entire zoo, the enclosures of some important animals are left behind. Apart from this, tourists also face problems due to lack of information about essential facilities like water, seating areas and food points. Keeping these problems in mind, this app has been prepared. According to the zoo administration, with the help of this app, visitors will get complete information about the location, route map and facilities of the animals on their mobile. With this, people will be able to decide their route easily and will also save time.
According to the Zoo administration, as soon as a visitor reaches the entry gate, the complete digital route map of the ZOO will be visible on his mobile. In this it will be clearly told which animal is located in which part and which is the easiest way to reach there. Apart from this, information about battery rickshaw service, trolley facility, water point, toilet and eating places will also be available in the app. With this, tourists will not have to waste time in finding any facility within the zoo. The most important thing is that through this app, visitors will also be able to book tickets online, which will make the entry process more fast and convenient.
Will work even without internet
In view of the network problem in many parts of the zoo, “NZP Saathi” mobile app has also been prepared in offline mode. There was difficulty in using online maps and other facilities due to weak or non-availability of mobile network at many places inside the zoo. Keeping this problem in mind, this app will now work even without internet. This is a GPS based system, which once downloaded, visitors will be able to use even in offline mode. This means that even in the absence of network, people will continue to get the location, route map and important information of animals.
The app will now have route options available to suit different needs, so that every type of visitor can have a convenient experience. For those who are short on time, a 1 to 2 hour express route is being developed that will include select key animals and attractions. For visitors traveling with their families, a 3 to 4-hour family route will be available, offering a more comfortable and balanced travel plan. Apart from this, an Explorer Route will also be added for those who want to see special animals and birds up close, in which the option of in-depth excursions will be available.
“NZP Saathi” mobile app now also includes the feature of suggesting personalized routes based on the preferences of visitors. Under this feature, if a visitor wants to see lion, tiger, elephant or just birds, then the App will tell him the shortest and easiest route accordingly. This will facilitate people to visit the zoo as per their interest. According to officials, with this system, visitors will not need to wander throughout the zoo and they will be able to directly reach their favorite animals without wasting time. Through this feature, visitors will now be able to listen to interesting and informative things related to animals in audio form. That means people will not only see the animals, but will also be able to know in detail about their behavior, habits and special characteristics. The objective of this feature is to make the zoo visit more interactive and educational, so that people visiting with children and families can have a better experience.
