Famous shooter and Manu Bhaker’s coach Jaspal Rana dies at the age of 49

World famous shooting coach Jaspal Rana has passed away. He breathed his last at the age of 49. Jaspal Rana had won gold medal in Asian Games. President of the Indian National Rifle Association said that Jaspal died on Thursday night. Jaspal was returning to India from the World Cup in Germany on Thursday itself. He did not feel well during the flight itself. After this, he was admitted to the hospital as soon as he landed at Delhi airport. He died during treatment. He has also been the coach of Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker.

 

There is an atmosphere of mourning in the sports world due to the demise of Jaspal Rana. He had brought laurels to the country in shooting sports in his life. For information, let us tell you that Jaspal Rana was working as ‘High Performance Coach’ for Indian pistol shooters. Jaspal Rana was given the Dronacharya Award for his outstanding contribution in shooting. He received this award in 2020.
