Konch(Jalaun)- The monthly panchayat of the Bharatiya Kisan Union was organized on Saturday under the chairmanship of former head village Basti Vijay Vikram Patel at Kisan Bhawan located in the new Krishi Galla Mandi complex. National General Secretary of the organization Rajveer Singh Jadaun attended the Panchayat as the chief guest. The farmers present put forward their various problems and to resolve these problems, the officials of the organization submitted a memorandum to SDM Abhinav Kumar.
The farmers of the area involved in the Panchayat demanded a strict ban on the movement of Anna cows to save the crops in the fields, ensuring the availability of DAP fertilizer in all the societies, repairing the damaged government tube wells, making arrangements for drainage of water in waterlogged villages, fixing the supply of dirty water from taps in many villages under the Namami Gange scheme, digging the Launa Sikri drain and getting it cleaned. There were many other problems including leaving. After the Panchayat, the officials of the organization have submitted a memorandum to the SDM demanding timely resolution of the problems. On this occasion, State Vice President Dr. Kedarnath Niranjan, District President Dwijendra Niranjan, Tehsil President Chatur Singh Patel, General Secretary Dr. PD Niranjan, Block President Subhash Patel and many farmers were present.
