Fast bowler Yash Thakur made his international debut in the second T20 match against Zimbabwe, has created havoc in IPL and domestic cricket.

Vidarbha fast bowler Yash Thakur has finally made his International T20 debut in this match being played at Harare Sports Club. Captain Shreyas Iyer informed during the toss that Yash Thakur has been included in the playing XI in place of Ashok Sharma, who played in the last match. Ashok Sharma, who has great experience in domestic cricket and IPL, made his T20 International debut for India in the first match of the series, where he bowled his entire quota of four overs but could not achieve any success. 27-year-old fast bowler Yash Thakur, who came in his place in the team, has long experience of cricket. Before making his international debut, Yash had played a total of 74 T20 matches, in which he bowled brilliantly and took 110 wickets in 74 innings. Apart from this, he has also played for franchises like Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he has taken 27 wickets in 22 IPL matches. Recent performances and playing XI of both the teams Yash Thakur represented India A during the tri-series held in Sri Lanka last month, where he took 5 wickets in 3 matches. Apart from this, he also took 5 wickets in two unofficial test matches against Sri Lanka A in Galle. This talented fast bowler from Vidarbha has played 32 first-class and 57 List-A matches so far in his career, in which he has taken 93 and 90 wickets respectively. Zimbabwe’s playing eleven for this match includes Brian Bennett, Ben Curran, Dion Myers, captain Sikandar Raza, Ryan Burl, Wesley Madhewere, wicketkeeper Tadivanashe Marumani, Brad Evans, Newman Nyamauri, Richard Ngarwa and Blessing Muzarabani. At the same time, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan, captain Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur and Mayank Yadav are in the playing eleven of the Indian team.
