FIFA 2026: US to feature first ever half time show
United States is bringing the biggest change to the football world cup as it hosts the 2026 edition.
The FIFA world cup 2026 will be held in North America across US, Canada and Mexico.
For the first time in the tournament’s history, since it began in 1930, the event will feature the half time show.
The show will be similar to the commercially successful one carried out in the NFL Super Bowl final every year in American football.

The half time show will be held on July 19 at the MetLife stadium, New York.
The MetLife stadium is one of the biggest stadiums in the world with a crowd capacity og more than 80,000.
It is expected that with the half time show, the football world cup will enter a new chapter which will be heavily centered on entertainment and glamour.
The highly anticipated event is being curated by Chris Martin alongside Global Citizen, with British group Coldplay involved behind the scenes.

However, the main performers to headline the show have not been announced yet.
For NFL Super Bowl 2026, Grammy-winning star Bad Bunny was the main performer.
