Firing from across the border on LoC, Indian soldiers gave a befitting reply to Pakistan’s nefarious act.

New Delhi: Once again there has been news of ceasefire violation by Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. It is being told that an attempt was made to send terrorists to the Indian border under the cover of heavy firing from across the border. However, due to the alertness and prompt action of the Indian Army, this attempt completely failed. Security agencies have increased surveillance in the entire area and suspicious activities are being continuously monitored.

According to officials, Pakistan suddenly started firing without any provocation on the Line of Control in Rajouri sector. Indian soldiers deployed on the border immediately responded to the situation and took charge. The firing continued for some time from both sides, which lasted for about two hours. During this time, Indian soldiers noticed some suspicious activities near the border. In the initial assessment, it was feared that the purpose of the firing was an attempt to force the terrorists to enter Indian territory. The army immediately retaliated and foiled the infiltration attempt.

Terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate failed

Security officials say that such tactics have been adopted by Pakistan many times before. Often an attempt is made to divert the attention of Indian soldiers by firing from across the border, so that terrorists can infiltrate during that time. But the Indian Army, Border Security Force (BSF) and Jammu and Kashmir Police are completely alert about such activities. All three agencies continuously monitor the border with mutual coordination, so that such attempts can be foiled in time.

Search operation is being conducted in the entire area

After the incident, security forces have started a search operation in the entire area. The deployment of soldiers has been increased in the forests and sensitive areas along the border. Every activity is being monitored with the help of modern surveillance equipment and drones. Officials say that at present the situation in the area is under control, but in view of any possible danger, no laxity is being taken in the security arrangements.

First major incident after Operation Sindoor

According to security sources, this is considered to be the first major incident of ceasefire violation on the Line of Control after Operation Sindoor. Before this, some small incidents had definitely come to light, but they were limited to limited firing only. Last year, during Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army had taken effective action against terrorist hideouts and suspicious activities across the border. After this, the ceasefire was violated several times by Pakistan. Especially in Poonch and Rajouri sectors, incidents of firing from across the border were reported, in which civilian areas were also targeted.

Border security stronger than before

India has significantly strengthened its border security in the last few years. The Line of Control is monitored round the clock through modern technology, high-resolution cameras, thermal sensors, drone surveillance and other electronic surveillance systems. Due to these arrangements, suspicious activities are detected in time and security forces are able to take immediate action. This is the reason why most of the infiltration attempts fail in the initial stage itself.
