Force Motors Limited, India’s largest van manufacturer and a leading automobile company, has announced a special initiative to encourage proper disposal (scraping) and recycling of old and end-of-life vehicles. Under this initiative, the company will help connect its customers with authorized vehicle scrapping centers.
For this purpose Force Motors has partnered with ‘Rosmerta Auto Recycling Private Limited’. This initiative, starting from Delhi-NCR region, will make the official scrappage facility very easy and transparent for the customers. Force Motors has further strengthened this commitment under the MoU with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to support the ‘Commercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme’.

Under this arrangement, eligible Force Motors customers can avail of Rosemerta’s official ‘Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility’. Here all the processes of fulfilling the necessary documents of the vehicles, safely removing the pollutants from the vehicle, separating the spare parts and collecting and recycling the recyclable materials will be carried out. Also, all necessary scrappage documents including official ‘Certificate of Deposit’ will also be provided to the customer as per the rules.

How the vehicle is disposed of at the end of its useful life is also important. Through this initiative, we want to facilitate the official disposal route for consumers. This is another practical step taken to increase resource efficiency and promote more responsible practices throughout the vehicle’s life cycle.”
After the successful implementation in Delhi-NCR, the company will explore options for similar collaborations in other parts of the country to enable safe disposal of old vehicles and recycling of valuable components across the country.
