Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar to visit six countries from today to July 15

New Delhi, 05 July 2026: Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will be on an official visit to Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman from today till July 10. During this visit, Dr. Jaishankar will meet with the foreign ministers and leaders of these countries. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that the objective of this visit is to strengthen India’s bilateral relations with these countries and to discuss regional developments and issues of mutual interest.

After Oman, Dr. Jaishankar will launch India’s campaign for the 2028-29 term of the United Nations Security Council in New York on July 13. Subsequently, he will participate in the 3rd meeting of the India-European Union (EU) Trade and Technology Council in Brussels on July 14 and 15 and hold discussions with the Foreign Ministers of the EU and Belgium.
