Ayodhya, September 2, 2026 – The name of the first Chief Executive Officer i.e. CEO of Shri Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust has been decided. According to sources, death has been imposed in the name of Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra. This official announcement will be made in the press conference of the Trust.
Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra will hold the post of CEO for three years from the date of his appointment. Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra has served in the Air Force for 38 years. He has worked as a fighter pilot, combat instructor and test pilot.
More than 5500 applications were received for the post of CEO of the Trust. Out of these, names of 18 people were shortlisted. The shortlisted people were asked many important questions including their beliefs related to Hindu religion.
What will be the responsibility of Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra?
The biggest responsibility of the CEO of Ram Temple will be to handle the administrative, financial and legal management of the temple.
A three-member committee was formed by the trust for the post of CEO. This committee included retired Justices Pramod Kohli, Vishnukant Chaturvedi and Suresh Howde.
Who is Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra?
Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra is a retired officer of the Indian Air Force. He served as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Command. Prior to this he served as Deputy Chief of Integrated Defense Staff (Operations). He has also been the Deputy Chief of Doctrine, Organization and Training in the Integrated Defense Staff.
Mishra is an alumnus of the National Defense Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla and Air Force Academy, Dundigal. He is also an alumnus of the Air Force Test Pilots School, Air Command and Staff College (Montgomery, Alabama) and the Royal College of Defense Studies.
Mishra got commission in the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force from the Air Force Academy on 6 December 1986. He has over 3000 hours of flying experience in a career spanning over 38 years. He has flown more than 18 types of fighters, transport aircraft and helicopters.
As a squadron leader, he was part of the team that made laser-guided bombs operational on Mirage 2000 aircraft at the beginning of the Kargil war. This bomb was later used in the famous attacks on Tiger Hill and Muntho Dhalo during 'Operation Safed Sagar'.
