Friendship over PUBG turned into love… Bangladeshi man reached Lucknow after getting fake papers made, two arrested

Lucknow, Amrit Thoughts: Bangladeshi citizen Mohd. Sajjad Hussain befriended the girl while playing online game (PUBG). Gradually friendship turned into love. After this, he reached India by getting a fake identity card made. After reaching Lucknow, the young man made a living in Bhadewan of Bazarkhala. The police arrested the public service center operator Mohd. who prepared fake documents along with the accused. Talha has been arrested. Police have recovered Bangladeshi passport, Indian Aadhar card, PAN card and voter identity card from Sajjad.

According to Inspector Bazaarkhala Brajesh Singh, Mohd. Sajjad Hussain is a resident of Chattogram, Bangladesh. He told during interrogation that in the year 2018 he used to play PUBG game. In the game, he was identified with Indian woman Farheen Naz through the ID named Juhi Ibrahim. As the conversation progressed, a love affair developed between the two. Sajjad came to Lucknow for the first time from Saudi Arabia on tourist visa on 18 August 2023 and stayed at Farheen's sister's house. After this, he got a court marriage done in Ayodhya on 28 August 2023 and started living with his wife in Lucknow. According to the police, Sajjad needed Indian identity cards during his stay in India.

Fake documents made from public service center, bank account opened

According to the police, during interrogation the accused told that during this time he met his neighbor Mohd. It happened to Talha, who ran a public service center. Talha first took the money and prepared his fake residence and birth certificate. Aadhaar card was made on the basis of these documents. Later, PAN card and Voter ID were also prepared on the same basis. Sajjad told the police that to get PAN and Voter ID made, he sent Rs 900 to Talha's mother's account through QR code and gave Rs 2,000 in cash. After this, on the basis of these documents, an account was opened in Kotak Mahindra Bank located at Naka. Police arrested Sajjad on the night of October 2. After this, Talha was caught on his information on October 3. Police are now also investigating who else were involved in preparing fake documents and at which places they were used.

Many important documents found, forensic investigation will be done

According to the police, photographs of fake residence and birth certificate were also found from Sajjad's mobile. A screenshot of Sajjad's Voter ID being sent was found in Talha's mobile. Police also recovered colored prints of fake residence and birth certificates from his shop. Besides, the desktop and CPU used in preparing the documents have also been seized. An important discrepancy was also detected in the investigation. The residence certificate issued in Sajjad's name bears the date of August 10, 2023, whereas according to his passport, he came to India for the first time on August 18, 2023.
