During this time, his physical strength was noticed by a sports official, who advised him to make a career in para powerlifting. Zandu took this advice seriously and started working hard. But the path to progress in sports was also not easy. He even had to sell his e-rickshaw to participate in national competitions. Despite the financial crisis, he did not leave his practice and gradually made his mark at the national level.

Today the same Jhandu Kumar has become a Commonwealth Games medal winner. His bronze medal is an inspiration for all those who have the courage to fulfill their dreams despite difficult circumstances.
