Jaipur, 24 October 2026: There was an accident with a mini-bus trailer on National Highway-48 in Bagru, about 20-30 km from Jaipur. In this accident, three tourists died on the spot, while about 25 other people were injured.
The bus was going from Khatu Shyam to Salasar. There were 30 passengers in it. These people are residents of Nashik. Seven persons have been referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur.

Regarding the collision between the minibus and the trailer, the investigating officer said, “At around 2:00 in the night, we received information from a 'police friend' that a serious accident had occurred. I immediately informed the patrolling unit and reached the spot.”
The officer further said, “There was a huge traffic jam, vehicles were damaged and there was filth and stones all around. I immediately contacted the SHO (Station House Officer), who made arrangements to take the injured to the sub-district hospital.”
The driver of the minibus ran away
Investigating officer Lal Ram said, “The accident occurred when a mini-bus tried to overtake another vehicle and collided with it. The driver was not found at the spot; passengers said he had jumped out of the vehicle and ran away.”
The officer further said, “Three people died on the spot. Their bodies were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Twenty-five people were injured, out of which seven were referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. The bus was going from Khatu Shyam to Salasar. These people are residents of Nashik.”
