Gamkhwar accident in Kerala: Uncontrollable car collides with two-wheeler, 3 tragic deaths

Kochi, 11 October 2026: A horrific road accident has occurred near Nedumbassery Airport in Kochi, Kerala. Early on Sunday morning, an out-of-control Purja car collided head-on with a two-wheeler, resulting in the tragic death of three people, including two women, traveling on the vehicle on the spot.

It is noteworthy that this accident took place near Nedumbassery Airport at around 2 am on Sunday morning. This horrific accident happened when we were returning home after having tea at a nearby shop.

Local people took him to hospital

Police have identified the deceased as Gopika from Palakkad, Devika from Wayanad and Ijaz from Karnataka. His two-wheeler was completely damaged in the accident and its parts were scattered on the road. After the accident, the local people immediately rushed to the spot and took the three injured to the hospital, where the doctors declared them dead.

Strict action against the accused driver

The police took immediate action and detained the driver Suhail and conducted a medical examination. The police officer had said that a case of attempt to commit illegal murder has been registered against the accused driver.
