  • Grand opening
  • The secret of Google Maps
  • The speed of travel will increase

Ganga Expressway inauguration 29 April 2026 : Today is going to be written in golden letters on India’s infrastructure map. The Ganga Expressway, one of the largest and most ambitious projects in Uttar Pradesh, was inaugurated today, April 29, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) is being inaugurated at Mallavan in Hardoi district. Constructed at a cost of Rs 36,000 crore, this expressway is all set to bridge the gap between two important cities of Meerut and Prayagraj. However, even when this road is actually ready, why can’t it be found on Google Maps, there is a great curiosity among the common people.

Google Maps and technical complications

Many have wondered why Google Maps, which always shows new roads and places instantly, is delaying showing the Ganga Expressway this time. The main reason for this is Google’s way of updating maps. Google not only relies on government statistics, but also uses satellite imagery and real-time GPS data. Google does not show any route on the expressway before it is officially open to traffic, as it may mislead people.

Safety is the highest priority

Google Maps takes great care before adding any new highway to its system. Though the Ganga Expressway is completed, its entry & exit points are being studied at a technical level to see how safe they are for passengers. Google doesn’t make the route ‘public’ until the ribbon is officially cut and the trains start rolling. The main purpose of this is to avoid accidents due to wrong way and ensure safety of passengers.
