Following a dominant run on Netflix’s Global Top 10 charts, the streaming giant officially greenlit the sequel, which is being co-produced by RubyRock Pictures and Boat Rocker Media (who recently acquired the global franchise rights).

Netflix has officially slated Geek Girl Season 2 to premiere sometime in 2026.
The production pipeline has moved incredibly smoothly. Filming for the sophomore block officially commenced in June 2025with the cast and crew splitting their shooting schedule between on-location sets in London, Englandand Ottawa, Canada.
Because the series is currently deep in post-production, fans can expect the new chapters to hit the platform globally without any regional streaming delays.
