Technology Desk: If you want to try the premium features of ChatGPT, but are thinking before spending the subscription money every month, then there is good news for you. OpenAI is offering 1 month of ChatGPT Plus free to select users in India for a limited time.
Through this offer, users can experience the premium features of Plus without paying the normal fees. However, it is not necessary that this offer be available to every user. Therefore, first of all it is important to check its availability in your account.
Know the important conditions first
Some things are not completely clear yet regarding the free ChatGPT Plus offer. The company has not clearly stated whether this offer is only for new users or old users can also take advantage of it.
At the same time, users who already have 12 months free ChatGPT Go subscription need to take special care. If the option to upgrade to Plus appears in their account, upgrading may affect or void their existing free Go plan.
Additionally, normal subscription fees may apply after the Free Plus period expires. Therefore, before accepting the offer, please check the information related to payment and auto-renewal.
Is there an offer in your account or not? check like this
Checking the free ChatGPT Plus offer is quite easy:
First of all open ChatGPT website or app.
Login to your account.
Go to your profile and select “Upgrade plan” option.
Now check in the ChatGPT Plus section whether the option of “Claim Free Offer” is visible or not.
If this button is available, click on it.
After this complete the requested payment verification process.
After the process is completed, Plus can be activated in your account.
Keep in mind that not seeing the “Claim Free Offer” option does not necessarily mean that the offer will never be available. The offer can be rolled out in a phased manner.
If you want to avoid deduction of money after 1 month…
If you only want to use ChatGPT Plus during the free period and don't want to pay any more, make sure to cancel your subscription before the free period ends.
Before accepting the offer, also check when the subscription will convert to a paid plan and what are the conditions of auto-renewal.
What will you get in ChatGPT Plus?
ChatGPT Plus generally has higher usage limits, better access, and more advanced features than the free version. Plus may be more useful for longer and more complex work, writing, coding, data analysis, and other AI workflows.
That means, if this offer is visible in your account, then this can be a good opportunity to try the premium features for a month.
However, the most important thing is that the availability of the offer may vary according to the account. Therefore, open “Upgrade plan” in your ChatGPT account and check once.
