Materials:

  • tomato
  • Black pepper powder
  • salt
  • Garlic
  • tamarind
  • cumin
  • Mustard
  • Kadipatta
  • Turmeric
  • Oil
  • Coriander

Action:

  • To make tomato rasam, first of all, grind garlic cloves, whole black pepper and cumin seeds in a bowl.
  • Take water in a pot and cook chopped tomatoes in it. After the cooked tomatoes cool down, grind them into a fine paste in a mixer bowl.
  • Add tamarind while grinding tomatoes. This makes the rasam taste very beautiful.
  • First of all pour the prepared tomato juice into the top and add water as required. After that add turmeric, salt to taste and the masala divided in khalbata and take it off the boil.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, dry red chillies, coriander leaves and fry them. Pour the prepared aromatic paste into the rasam and mix.
  • After boiling, turn off the gas and add finely chopped coriander to the prepared rasam and mix well.
  • Tomato rasam made in easy way is ready.
