Key Points

  • Girl Scouts are launching Sparkables, their first vegan, gluten-free, allergen-friendly cookie in 2027.
  • Patch Pals, a blueberry muffin-flavored dog treat, marks Girl Scouts’ first-ever cookie for pets.
  • Both new cookies will be available exclusively online starting January 12, 2027, during cookie season.

Ahead of the 2027 cookie season, Girl Scouts just unveiled two additional flavors that may become essentials for your whole family—and when we say “whole family,” we mean your furry friends, too.

Today, the organization announced a collaboration with Bark for their first-ever dog cookie: Patch Pals. The blueberry muffin-flavored dog treats are soft-baked, so they’re easy to chew and will hopefully “make all dogs happy.”

And alongside the pet-focused cookies, the Scouts are also introducing a brand-new human cookie developed with Partake, called Sparkables. What makes these crunchy, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with sprinkles extra special is that they will be the first allergen-friendly cookie formulated by Girl Scouts, as they are vegan, gluten-free and avoid the top nine major food allergens—wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, sesame, soy, shellfish or fish—in both their ingredients list and the facilities they are baked in.

The new Sparkables and Patch Pals are exclusive to online orders, and both of these new cookies won’t be available until January 12, 2027, or at the start of Girl Scout cookie season in your area—which may be earlier. Girl Scout cookie season is active from January through April every year, so look out for your local troops in the winter months to come!

And don’t worry, all of your favorite Girl Scout cookies are expected to make a return, including Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Caramel deLites and Trefoils. While you wait for the colorful boxes to restock, try making the original Girl Scout cookie recipe at home, or whip up one of these healthy dishes inspired by the current iconic flavors:
