The actor informed the Mumbai Police, who handed over the investigation to the Anti-Extortion Cell and Crime Branch.
What was revealed in the crime branch investigation?
The technical team of the crime branch examined the audio recording of the threatening call. Compared the voice to Harry Boxer's official audio samples in their database. According to senior police officials, the samples did not match, leading to suspicion that the call was fake. Someone had used the name of the gang to create fear. Police are now searching for the person who sent the audio recording.
