Krystal Integrated Services : Marathi entrepreneurship has now taken another historic step towards proving its strength on the global stage by acquiring world-class companies. Krystal Integrated Services Limited (Krystal Integrated Services) has acquired 100 percent stake in Citelum India Private Limited, Citelum India is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Krystal Integrated Services. Citelum India was formerly an associated company of France's EDF Group (Électricité de France). EDF is an energy group owned by the French government. Therefore, this acquisition has gained special importance in terms of global expansion of Indian, especially Marathi, entrepreneurship.

CMD of Krystal Integrated Services Ms. Under the leadership of Neeta Prasad Lad, the company has moved on from Integrated Facility Management, and has now made a strong foray into the future-oriented areas of City Lighting and Urban Infrastructure.
Citelum India is a company operating in India since 2011 with specialized experience in urban street lighting, energy efficient lighting, design, engineering, installation and operation & maintenance of lighting infrastructure. Also, the company has technical capabilities in modern facilities like connected lighting, traffic signals, artistic lighting, video protection, EV charging, air-quality monitoring and other smart-city services.
Investment of ₹100 crore; Aims to create more than 5,000 jobs
Combining Citelum India's technical expertise with Krystal's strong operational platform, the company has set a target of ₹300 to ₹350 crore in annual revenue from this new vertical over the next 3 to 4 years. For this expansion, the company will invest around ₹100 crore for engineering capabilities, technology platforms and business expansion.
It is also planned to expand urban infrastructure services in 30 to 40 cities and 12 to 15 states of the country, and it is targeted to create more than 5,000 skilled and semi-skilled employment opportunities from this sector.
Smart Cities to EV Infrastructure — A new direction for the development of a new India
With this acquisition, the service sector of Krystal Integrated Services will grow significantly and the company will expand into Connected Lighting, Smart Metering, EV Charging Infrastructure and various electrical solutions required for modern cities. Today, India is rapidly moving towards urbanization and technology-driven infrastructure. In such a time, the demand for energy saving, smart street lights, digital monitoring, EV infrastructure and long-term operation & maintenance is increasing.
