After one day’s rise, gold has become cheaper for the second consecutive day. In the last two days, 24 carat gold has become cheaper by Rs 1,700 per 10 gram and 22 carat gold by Rs 1,560 in Delhi. Even today a decline of Rs 10 each was recorded in both the categories.

In Delhi, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 1,44,310 per 10 grams, 22 carat at Rs 1,32,290 and 18 carat at Rs 1,08,270. In Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,44,160, 22 carat Rs 1,32,140 and 18 carat Rs 1,08,120 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow and Jaipur, 24 carat gold is available at Rs 1,44,310, 22 carat Rs 1,32,290 and 18 carat Rs 1,08,270 per 10 grams. Whereas, in Patna and Ahmedabad, 24 carat gold is being sold at the rate of Rs 1,44,210, 22 carat Rs 1,32,190 and 18 carat gold at Rs 1,08,170 per 10 grams.

slight recovery in silver

After Tuesday’s sharp fall, a slight improvement was seen in silver prices on Wednesday, July 29. The price of silver in Delhi is around Rs 2,35,000 per kg.

Silver futures price on MCX rose by Rs 42, or 0.02%, to Rs 2,16,441 per kg in early trade. In the last trading session it had closed at Rs 2,15,840 per kg. In the international market, silver is trading at $ 57.66 an ounce.

In the international market, spot gold fell 1.1% to $ 4,032.42 an ounce. At the same time, US gold futures for August delivery also fell 1.1% to $ 4,032.40 an ounce. Gold became costlier for foreign buyers as the dollar neared a one-month high, impacting demand.

There was a big fall in silver on the last trading day

On Tuesday, due to weak global cues and strengthening rupee, silver fell by Rs 5,200 per kg in Delhi’s bullion market. According to All India Bullion Association, the price of silver fell to Rs 2,24,800 per kg, whereas in the previous trading session it had closed at Rs 2,30,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of spot silver in the international market also fell by about 2% to $ 57.24 an ounce.
