Business Desk – Gold Silver Price Today: Sharp fluctuations were seen in the prices of gold and silver on Monday. After the initial fall, a statement related to Iran had boosted the commodity market, but on Tuesday, June 23, due to the strength of the dollar, both precious metals again came under pressure. In the early trade on international market Comex and domestic market MCX, both gold and silver are trading with a decline.
Big fall in gold and silver on MCX
At 9:20 am on Tuesday, the price of gold on MCX fell by 0.89% to Rs 1,46,804 per 10 grams. Whereas silver fell by 2.69% to Rs 2,28,000 per kg. That means, in a single day the price of silver fell by about Rs 5,600. However, on Monday, on MCX, gold closed at Rs 1,48,182 per 10 grams with a gain of 0.67% and silver closed at Rs 2,34,465 per kg with a gain of 0.55%.
Pressure on Comex too
Even in the international market Comex, both gold and silver are trading with weakness. At 7:30 am on Tuesday, gold fell 0.76% to $ 4,170.70 an ounce. Whereas silver fell by 2.43% and was seen trading at $ 63.990 per ounce.

In Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, the price of one kg silver was recorded at Rs 2,49,900. Whereas in Chennai and Hyderabad the price of silver was Rs 2,54,900 per kg.

In the national capital Delhi, 24 carat gold reached Rs 14,667 per gram, 22 carat gold reached Rs 13,446 per gram and 18 carat gold reached Rs 11,004 per gram.
