Gold Rate Today: 24K, 22K Gold Prices in Major Indian Cities

Mumbai: Gold prices remained elevated on Wednesday, October 7, with 24-carat gold trading close to the Rs 1.50 lakh mark per 10 grams in major Indian markets. Twenty-two-carat gold was also hovering around Rs 1.37 lakh per 10 grams, while silver remained above Rs 2.28 lakh per kg.

According to reference rate's reports, gold prices continued to remain firm across key cities. The latest rates may vary at jewelery stores depending on taxes, making charges and other local costs.

Gold, Silver Prices Today

Gold was trading at Rs 1,50,130 per 10 grams, gaining Rs 814, or 0.55 per cent, from the previous close of Rs 1,49,316.

Silver also recorded an upward move. Silver stood at Rs 2,27,365 per kg, rising Rs 1,278, or 0.57 per cent, from the previous close of Rs 2,26,087.

24K Gold Price Today: City-Wise Rates

The reference rate’s reports for 24K gold was Rs 1,49,935 per 10 grams in Mumbai. In Delhi, the rate stood at Rs 1,50,140, ​​while Chennai recorded Rs 1,50,215.

Kolkata’s 24K gold rate was Rs 1,49,720 per 10 grams, while Bengaluru recorded Rs 1,50,106.

22K Gold Price Today

For 22K gold, Mumbai recorded Rs 1,37,595 per 10 grams. Delhi and Kolkata both stood at Rs 1,37,379, while Chennai reported Rs 1,37,824.

In Bengaluru, 22K gold was priced at Rs 1,37,737 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today

Silver prices also remained elevated across major markets. The 999 silver rate was Rs 2,28,022 per kg in Mumbai, while Delhi recorded Rs 2,28,187.

Chennai and Kolkata reported Rs 2,28,212 per kg, while Bengaluru recorded the highest rate among the listed cities at Rs 2,28,269 per kg.
