According to Kaynat Chenwala, AVP of Commodity Research at Kotak Securities, gold and silver have cooled due to the strengthening dollar. She says that spot gold in the international market has fallen from its highest level on Thursday to below $4,060 per ounce. Furthermore, rising crude oil prices in the international market have significantly reduced investor interest in precious metals. Silver has also fallen globally and is currently trading around $58 per ounce.
