Gold and silver prices remained largely stable in the Indian retail market on Sunday, September 13, 2026. According to the latest rates, gold was trading at ₹1,53,250 per 10 grams, while silver stood at ₹2,34,670 per kg.
In the retail market, gold is primarily traded in 24-carat and 22-carat purities. While 24-carat gold is considered the purest form of the metal, 22-carat gold is widely preferred for jewellery because it is more durable due to the presence of other metals.

According to the latest city-wise retail rates, 24-carat gold in Delhi was priced at ₹1,52,710 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,39,984 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,52,970 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,40,223 per 10 grams.

Silver rates today
Silver prices were also largely unchanged across the major cities tracked in the report. Silver was priced at ₹23,462 per 100 grams and ₹2,34,620 per kg in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.

MCX gold and silver rates
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures were down 0.08% at around ₹1,52,655 per 10 grams, while silver futures fell 0.04% to around ₹2,34,886 per kg at the time of the report.
Gold and silver prices are influenced by several factors, including international bullion prices, movements in the US dollar, domestic demand and global economic conditions. Gold prices can also vary between cities and jewellers because of procurement costs, taxes and individual pricing policies.
Gold rates at top jewellers
Gold prices at leading jewellery retailers remained broadly stable on September 13. Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds were quoting ₹14,155 per gram for 22K gold, while Tanishq’s 22K rate stood at ₹14,200 per gram.
For 24K gold, Malabar Gold & Diamonds quoted ₹15,442 per gram, while Tanishq’s rate was ₹15,491 per gram, according to the report.
Consumers should note that quoted bullion and retail rates may not include GST, making charges or other applicable costs. The final price of jewellery can therefore be higher than the headline gold rate.
