Good news announced! Rail services on Kanpur-Lucknow line will resume from May 14

The problem of cancellation and route change of trains that has been going on for a long time is going to end from May 14. Railways has announced that from this date the operation of all affected trains on the Kanpur-Lucknow railway section will be normalized again.
The block was due to girder replacement work
Railways had started the work of replacing the girder of the Ganga river bridge on the down line in Kanpur from April 2. Due to this, the operation of trains on this route was stopped from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Due to this, many major trains were either being canceled or running on changed routes.
Passengers were facing a lot of trouble
Due to this block, passengers were facing a lot of problems. Major trains like Shatabdi Express were being run via Moradabad, causing a delay of about two hours in the travel time. At the same time, many trains like Lucknow-Jhansi Intercity had to be canceled midway.
Operations will resume normal from May 14th
According to railway officials, the work of girder launching will be completed on time. After this, the block running till May 13 will be ended and the movement of trains on the Kanpur-Lucknow railway section will be normalized from May 14.
Major trains will run again on their old routes
After the restoration, many trains including Shatabdi Express, LTT-Lucknow AC Express, Garib Rath will again come to Lucknow via Kanpur. With this, passengers will get the benefit of timely and smooth travel.
Railways aims to complete the work on time
Railway officials and engineering team continuously monitored this project. Regular inspection was done by senior officials so that the work was completed on time. This work was being monitored up to the Railway Board level. Now the normalization of operation of trains will not only provide relief to the daily traveling passengers, but will also make it easier to operate additional special trains amid the increasing crowd during the summer season.
