How much will the cost of recharge plans be reduced?

Data services play a major role in mobile recharge costs. According to an estimate, data services account for around 50 to 70 percent of the cost of any plan. So if data is deleted and only calling and SMS facilities are offered, the cost of the recharge plan can make a huge difference. For example, a data plan costs Rs 300. Whereas a plan with only calling and SMS in the same validity can cost around Rs 100 to Rs 1150. However, the right to decide the final price will remain with the telecom companies. That means the price of data-free recharge plans can be reduced by more than 50 percent.
