Team’s regular captain Pat Cummins has got approval to play in IPL 2026. Cummins is said to be completely fit for bowling in this league. He may return to India on Friday to join Sunrisers.

Pat Cummins has been cleared to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL after fresh scans revealed that his back problem has resolved, reports Cricbuzz. As per earlier reports, Cummins will be able to bowl without any restrictions and will return to India on Friday (April 17) to join the team.
A scan conducted in Sydney on Wednesday confirmed that he has fully recovered from the back injury. Cummins has not played any competitive match since suffering an injury during the Ashes late last year. Due to this injury, he was ruled out of the subsequent T20 World Cup.
