Good news for victims of cyber fraud: Now e-Zero FIR can be registered sitting at home

Gujarat Government has launched a very important and relief service for victims of cybercrime. The ‘e-Zero FIR’ service has been launched by Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghvi. Due to this new facility, citizens who are victims of cyber fraud will no longer need to rush to the police station to file a complaint. Citizens can now file their complaints online at home.

1930 helpline and instant refund

Under this service, citizens can register their complaints by calling the cyber helpline number 1930. As soon as this service started in the state, 15.76 lakh rupees of the victim has been safely returned by prompt action under the first e-Zero FIR. The complaint registered through this system will be immediately forwarded to the concerned police station, so that immediate action can be taken against the crime.

Quick action and security

The first few hours of cyber fraud are critical. The e-Zero FIR facility will stop wastage of time and the police system will be able to immediately take action to block the fraudulent money. This initiative will enhance the security of the citizens of the state and will bring great success in curbing the cyber criminals.
