Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) has announced the introduction of a government-approved CNG retrofit kit for the all-new Nissan Gravite. The kit offers class-first Smart Twin-Cylinder technology, keeping the car’s 7-seater design and usability intact. Available in 16 states, the kit has a starting price of Rs 82,999. Notably, the car is comfortable and useful for daily use with ample space for the third row passengers.

Gravite CNG is a modern and practical option that realizes the concept of “Smart Power with Smarter Savings”. This significantly reduces the cost per kilometer while maintaining the vehicle’s performance and comfort. This CNG kit is developed by Motozen and ensures quality and safety. Customers can easily install this kit from an authorized Nissan dealer. Also the components of the kit are covered by a third party warranty of 3 years or up to 100,000 km.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said that following the positive response to the Magnite CNG, the twin-cylinder technology has now been introduced in the Gravite. It has been specially designed for customers looking for a 7-seater MPV, with no compromise on space and comfort.
This CNG system features BS6.2 compliant sequential kit, ICAT-approved safety, 8.1mm thick robust cylinder and Dynamic Advanced technology. It can also easily switch between petrol and CNG, making usage more convenient.
For daily commuting, school-office commuting or even long-distance commuting, Gravite CNG is a cost-effective option. As the cost is lower compared to petrol, it is beneficial for heavy users. Besides, being eco-friendly also helps in reducing pollution in urban areas.
