Suzuki Sales: Suzuki achieved 4% growth in April 2026, increase in sales and exports – Haribhoomi
Suzuki Sales: Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL) has released its sales report for April 2026, in which the company has registered better performance year-on-year. The Indian two-wheeler associate company of Japanese Suzuki Motor Corporation sold a total of 1 lakh 17 thousand 514 units this month, whereas in April 2025 this figure was 1 lakh 12 thousand 948 units. In this way, the total sales of the company have seen an increase of about 4%.
Stable growth in domestic market, boom in exports
- The company has also performed positively in terms of domestic sales. 98,004 units were sold in India in April 2026, compared to 95,214 units in the same period last year, showing a growth of about 3%. At the same time, the company has performed better in the field of exports. Suzuki exported 19,510 units in April 2026, which is about 10% more than 17,734 units last year.
- Deepak Muttreja, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said that this performance reflects a strong start to the new financial year. According to him, the growth in both domestic and international markets proves that customers continue to have confidence in the company.
Increase in spare parts and brand activity also
- The spare parts business also achieved revenue of Rs 915.90 million, a growth of 14%. With this the company also completed its 20-year manufacturing journey in India. Recently the company launched the new “One and Only” edition of Suzuki Burgman Street and added a new color option to the special edition of Suzuki Avenis.
- Besides, the Suzuki Matsuri Festival held in Mumbai has also been included in the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records, while the V-Strom Experience Day in Kolkata gave a special riding experience to the bike lovers.
